Bacacı Yatırım Holding brought together leading names from the economic world at the International Economy Summit 2026 with the panel titled “New Investment Models, Strategies, and Opportunities

The panel “New Investment Models, Strategies, and Opportunities,” held under the sponsorship of Bacacı Yatırım Holding at the International Economy Summit 2026, brought together prominent figures from the economy and business world.

During the panel, Cem Cansu, Board Member and Spokesperson of Bacacı Yatırım Holding, stated: “In today’s world, we believe that expressing growth solely through figures is not always a sufficient indicator. Revenue and scale are certainly important; however, we value progress in human resources, technology, and sustainability just as much as financial growth.”

The most important indicator of resilience is maintaining financial and operational structures at manageable levels.

Emphasizing that resilience and sustainability are essential for investments to remain healthy and disciplined during periods of rapid change and intense information flow, Cem Cansu noted that this approach ensures that even if there are delays in investment plans, the final outcome remains unchanged.

Cansu shared the following insights: “Although various developments have occurred throughout history, overall human prosperity has consistently increased. If we were to draw a graph as economists do, we would see an upward trend, but also sharp fluctuations along the way. In fact, the period we are currently experiencing is a significant example of this. Historically, those who have endured are the ones who managed such periods and navigated both visible and invisible risks (black swans). This is also how crises can be turned into opportunities. The key indicators of resilience are having financial and operational structures at manageable levels. Creating multi-stakeholder value comes from the awareness of generating value not only for yourself but for your entire ecosystem, and turning this into a habit and a way of life. This is why we aim to help companies reach their true potential, which we define as the process of value creation. In today’s evolving investment climate, we observe that revenue and profit are being replaced by balance sheet strength and cash flow, and financing is shifting from supporting growth to enabling sustainability. We have embraced a world where non-financial reporting is becoming more prominent than financial reporting, and where these commitments must go beyond documentation.
